The Iron Man movie is sex on toast. I would pay to see it again, and movie tickets are $10 right now. That's how much ass it kicked.

So now, finally, my iPod is completely dead. When I plug it into the charger, it doesn't do a damn thing. So, now it's time to buy new one. I'm not sure if I wanna get another iPod, because they've gone down in price ridiculously since I bought my mini 2 or 3 years ago. Then again there is the Zune, which also kicks a lot of ass.

I can get an 80 GB iPod and an 80 GB Zune for the exact same price from Best Buy. I want something smaller, like a 30 GB, but it's getting harder to find 30GB anything anywhere.

I also like the simplicity of iTunes for configuring the music on my player, and I don't really know anything about the Zune software.

Anyway, I still have time to think about it because my priorities for major purposes puts new tires first (they're bald). So can someone tell me which one would win in a match to the death?

My friends and boyfriend are back from their weekend camping trip! YAY!! If it had been any other week than this one, I would have gone with them....X_X

Prologue Chapter: COMPLETED
Chapter One: pgs. 1-23 Completed

Chapter one pages #1-21 are complete. My current goal is to have chapter one finished by June. Either that, or have all of the linework done and maybe some coloring. This chapter is significantly longer that the prologue chapter.

But I think I might be able to do it.

So now that I'm out of school for the summer, I can draw things forever!!! Today's project is to finish page 8 so I can post it tomorrow. O_o LoL it's the page that shows the house so I've taken as much time as I could to make it not look like shit...even though it still kinda does. Hopefully all the details will mask the crappy construction and inappropriate angles. Hooray!!

I'm also incredibly thankful for all of the feedback I've been receiving about the comic and it's related works. You guys rock. Seriously, I'm overwhelmed with joy...and joyness!

Now I'm off to draw more stuff!! I'm trying to see if I can finish up chapter one by the end of the month. WOO!!

ON BIRTHDAYS:

I actually took a great deal of time and care into choosing the birthdays of the Red Soul characters. I dig astrology, so I was picking which sign corresponded best to each character, and how they interacted with others. With the earth, water, air, and fire souls, their birthdays fall on the solstices of each of the seasons.

This left Yuri (red) with an air sign (June 20, Gemini), and Nick (violet) with a fire sign (December 21, Sagittarius). In the Red Soul comic, Yuri and Nick develop a deep friendship almost immediately. This is so because it turns out they are kindred spirits, seeing as their elements switched from astrologically determined to one defined by their soul power. ((Did that make sense??))

The funny thing is, the story and characters I had got filed into their zodiac almost perfectly each time. It's weird, even down to some color associations.

I'm going to go and finish some brainstorm pages.
